Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil

$18.12 - $32.19

Description

Citrus paradisi - origin USA, peel, cold pressed.

Pink Grapefruit essential oil is incredibly popular for many uses, and it's no surprise considering the mouthwatering, zesty aroma.

This is a monoterpene dominated oil and has about 94% limonene content which gives it that strong citrus quality.  Oil in citrus peels like this is so abundant that it is cold pressed instead of being steam distilled.  Think of the smell when you peel a grapefruit - the oils are literally just bursting from the skin into the air.  The cold process leaves the aroma qualities of the oil more intact as well.

Pink Grapefruit is a delightful oil for diffusion to enhance concentration and wonderful for cleaning the house.  It is a stimulant oil for the lymphatic and digestive systems.

Please see the "Ingredients" tab for the GC/MS test results for this essential oil.

Blending: This oil is considered a top note and will flash off more quickly if not fixed with base and fixative notes.  It blends well with other citrus oils, palmarosa, neroli, rosemary, lavender, geranium, spice oils, clary sage, balsam of peru and many more oils.

Aromatherapy uses: depression, headaches, stress, acne and congested skin types, muscle fatigue and sluggishness in the body

All essential oils bottled by Blissoma come from trusted suppliers that we have worked with for years now for production of our own product line.  We are now offering these oils to our retail and professional clients because of their exceptional qualities.  Every oil is 100% pure and natural with no adulteration or alterations.

Due to oils being lighter than water 9 g is 10 ml volume (.3 oz).  25 g is about 28 ml volume (1 oz).  We are selling by weight because it is more exact.

Citrus oils in particular can be phototoxic, which means they can darken the skin and cause burning of the skin faster than normal when exposed to sunlight.  In order to avoid this effect with citrus oils use them below 4%, and preferably use them at times when the skin will not be subsequently exposed to sun.

If irritation occurs discontinue use.  Keep essential oils stored in a cool location out of sunlight to best preserve them.
